Errr, yeah!  Ain't that the truth?

Guess what I did?  Misread some info on an herbal tincture and posted it about no less lol! Here is what I'm talking about.

"I've had a really bad headache all day long and it got to the point where I was having a hard time focusing on anything, it was just too much.  I had read somewhere that B & B tincture could take away a killer Migraine headache if you took 6-10 droppersful at once and if that didn't quite get it then you could also take Lobelia with it. So, since I have a history with Migraines I marched myself into the kitchen, put 10 droppersful of the B & B plus 1 droppersful of Lobelia (just in case) in a glass with a splash of water and slammed it down lol.  I will swear that within less than 6-7 minutes that headache was gone!  I just couldn't believe it! Now for the tincture it was supposed to be, Brain Formula tincture lol.  Now I DID use the 10 droppersful of the B & B and it DID take my headache away almost immediately!  I did it again the next day before I discovered my mistake and once again it took my headache away.  I guess the other night when my head was pounding I thought I had read that about the B & B but the next day I found where the Brain Formula is used for killer migraines lol.  I went back to what I had read about the B & B and it did NOT say it would take headaches away.

Okay, so this thread has kinda turned into "blazing new trails" with herbs and since the B & B DID take my headache away it's still a valid testimony to be sure.  

Maybe thats how Dr. Christopher found out certain tinctures made for use in one sickness worked equally as well on another sickness. I know this is the case with the B & B because Dr. Christopher himself told how the Lord gave him the  B & B formula for a little boy with epilepsy, he used the tincture in his ear after coating the ear with oil of garlic and the boy was completely healed of the epilepsy.  Then a relative or friend of the family of the boy was so impressed that the tincture healed this boy that he used the tincture in his his ears because he had lost his hearing and was wearing hearing aids.  Several months later this mans hearing was restored using the B & B tincture that Dr. Christopher had created for healing the boy with epilepsy.

So I guess the moral of the story of all this misreading labels and information is that the herbs "do no harm", after all they are just food!  In the case of the eyewash straight in the eye with no distilled water it only caused a little pain for a little while, no harm.  In the case of Miss H using the wrong tea, she got out stones, again, no harm!  In my case my headache disappeared, no harm, just another use for the B & B tincture!

Oh and one more thing.  I'v been using about 4 droppersful of the B & B tincture to help me sleep at night and boy does it produce a great nights sleep.  I gave my husband several droppersful of it to aid his sleeping and he said he slept like a rock which is very unusual for him. It does not make you drowsy it just enables to get get a good nights sleep without interruption.  

I'm not saying we should disregard the labels I'm just saying that herbs heal they don't harm.  I'm all for experimenting with different herbal tinctures to see how they work in MY body.  Not saying everyone should do it but if your "doctor within" discerns something is good and is helping you then pay attention.
