Re: Intermittent Water fasting.

Yes i have every intention of avoiding the Fast5. I just went on forum because i was curious. I was trying to find out more about IF. There is another forum on yahoo that deals with that as well, but not very active.

I soon realized that it wasn't for me. As you say, the fact you can eat everything you want in 5 hours rang alarm bells. And the moderator actually said this is really for weightloss. But personally i don't think it is a really healthy way to lose weight either, if they ate well in-between,that would be a different matter, but that doesn't seem to be the case. If they don't eat well, some might, they are heading for nutritional deficiencies over time. Is 19 hrs enough time to lose muscle? If it is they could be changing body composition to.

I'm blowing hot and cold about this IF. I think to get deep down healing, it has to be a moderate to long waterfast. If i got past two days i would want to carry on, not stop and have to start again, i think that would be more taxing on the body as well.

I got a bit of cramp this morning as turned cold. So yet again i'm worried my electrolytes might not be balanced or low.

I'm going to start adding Seasalt again to some of my juices as that sorted my cramps out in the past, only up to the start of my fast, not during.
