Re: Some thouhgts...
38976,
There is no reason for a good parent to apologize. It is recognized that parents are still human, and little, inconsequential mistakes will always arise out of disagreement or misunderstanding. A family that is otherwise intact (stable) will always endure and adjust to whatever comes along, this is a child's healthy preparation for life. It is the DYSFUNCTIONAL family (unstable, chaotic) that betrays itself (like a black hole).
I'm 53 and have always considered suicide out of the question (I am not a murderer). Since I am not an ingrate for what has been given to humanity, I thank God for everything, especially on Thanksgiving, but I simply cannot find any reasons to be thankful that I was born. THIS is the kind of family background and parents that is being resented in this thread, not parents like you (you have no reason to apologize).
There are many of us who have not reacted unjustly and ended up in prison. You can rest assured that by being so careless as to let you feel apologetic, it is we who should apologize to you,...sorry.
God bless you, MadArtist.
