i was young... i knew it all...
you couldn't tell me anything...
i could blow your cover in a heartbeat...
that was many years ago... a lifetime ago...
and alcohol seemed to be my best friend... my lover...
because in reality i couldn't stand myself...
today i only know... that i don't know...
but if i ever have a desire to know...
i will ask YOU... OK...???
BUT...
until that day arrives i consider this conversation ended...
because i know all i need to know... which is...
"it's a wonderful day in the neighborhood"...

ps... since i seem to be on trial here... i'll answer some of your accusations...
i have no other vices...
quit smoking over 14 years ago...
i exercise daily...
i am a bit overweight...
i would like to lose 20 lbs...
so i guess food/eating is my only vice...
that... and breathing... can't seem to stop that one either...
but one day i will... so... until then... please excuse me for living...
