More of your so-called spirituality? Interesting - but typical - you had no answers at all!

It's common knowledge that AA'ers often become chain smokers (as well as consuming OTHER substances) - are you one? - essentially exchanging one addiction for another. Ever wonder why? Why they have an uncontrollable urge to alter their own brain chemistry, when most of us do not? Yes, there is something very different about alcoholics, but it's not lack of spirituality; some are mean drunks, but most I've known have been the sweetest people in the world. While some of the cruelest, most corrupt individuals are clear-eyed, substance-free, and soul-less.

Asking one to change their chemistry by will or spirit is like asking a diabetic to make their own insulin. Someday the you and the world will understand that.

According to your post, "maladies" are caused by lack of spirituality.... then all handicapped persons must be non-spiritual; certainly not as spiritual as YOU. And why can't your "sweetheart" fix her own pms without dong quai, etc? Not spiritual enough?

You complain about being totally alone in the world...I would venture to guess you brought it on yourself - not thru alcoholism - but the closed mind and holier-than-thou attitude.

Even the Bible says God helps them who help themselves. I believe God gave us a brain for a reason...use it!
