I wasn’t referring to enzyme therapy, whereby one ingests pills of say, chymotrypsin, other proteases, lipases, etc. Rather, understanding the reason why the body’s own enzymes become deactivated. I’ve been supplementing iodine for almost 8 mos. now for fibrocystic breast disease. Well now, as of today I’ve been supplementing iodine for 6 mos. I’ll do a little recap as far as detox, dosages, etc...BTW, I’m doing this for fibrocystic breast disease. I started my dosage at 12.5 mg per day and over a period of 3 mos. time, brought that up to 50, where I’ve been ever since(for the most part). My reasoning was that I wanted to be able to handle any detox that came my way and I must say that overall, I’ve been successful. I was also very nervous.
