You choose it, minute by minute, second by second. When the feelings come helter skelter, you tke a deep breath and say I choose peace. Say it again and again with each deep breath. When you think a negative thought, resist it. Take a deep breath and say I choose peace. You did not get in this shape all at once and you won't get out of it all at once. But it can happen.
If you can afford to pay someone, get a psychologist to help you through this if you feel you can't do it on your own. Or call your county mental health center and go in to see someone. They will waive costs if you can't pay.
We all come to this board at different stages of our lives. Yours is more emotional than physical. It's OK. Most physical problems have an emotional root.
Iodine will help you. But you are very toxic and need to take it slow. Don't worry about anything else right now except to get calm now. Don't worry about food, thoughts, feelings. Just deep breathe, keep taking the salt drink, and get some sleep. Then tomorrow read and reread these posts and post again to let us know how you are.
