Re: Can you overdose on Iodine?

ok. several things.

if you are thinking your liver is shot, it probably is. fortunately, it is an easy organ to regenerate. you have to take the load off of it. this will preclude you doing any heavy dosing of iodine, for now.

the liver will regenerate itself. it needs its workload cut down considerably.

take an inventory of your lifestyle. start with your air. get rid of all aerosols and perfumes and cleaners, stuff like that. keep the windows open, especially at night. deep breathing exercizes. etc.

next, your water. make all your drinks from distilled water that you make. a distiller will cost about $150. take your drinks with you and dont deviate from this.

food. i dont care what you eat, just make sure it is not poisoned. all organic and as much local, fresh, raw, etc. keep meat to a minimum. dont mix carbs and concentrated proteins such as meat, dairy or eggs. dairy is a big problem, even if it is organic. it is still pasteurized, which means cooked. keep it to a minimum or find a raw source. grains should be whole and steer clear of gluten. the more you do for yourself, the better, like bake your own bread, if you must have it. the less prepared your food is when you get it, the better. trust no one to feed you. what do they care?

then there is the external environment. dont put anything on your skin you wouldnt eat a big spoonful of. pay attention to your shampoos and laundry detergents and anything that touches your skin. again, making your own from safe ingredients is a worthwhile endeavor. keep all of thos chemicals off of your skin and out of your body.

as you can tell by now, when we buy ready made products, we are just asking to be poisoned. every single molecule that goes in our body has to be metabolized by the liver. that is a heavy, heavy load for the average person.

then there are things you can do to assist in detox directly. rather than doing an internal cleanse which can increase the burden on the liver, do things to help it out. put a filter on your bath water. if you have fluoride in your water, you really need to R/O your whole house. this is critical because standing in a hot shower is the same as drinking 8 glasses of it. also, some detox baths are highly recommended. the one you need is the Epsom Salt and baking soda soak. two cups of each in as hot water as you can stand is a good place to start.

another fantastic help for the liver is oil pulling. when i first encountered this three years ago, i loved the idea. it is like a mini liver installed in your mouth. when it is full, you spit it out. this is really good.

circulation is also good for the liver. keep your supplements few. milk thistle is a great liver tonic. cayenne is best for circulation. and to keep bile flowing, a tablespoon of the best olive oil you can buy just before bed every night.

makes sure bowels and kidneys are flowing. keep hydrated using the Water Cure . use only ancient seabed salt like realsalt. and keep your feet bare as much as possible. they are your second set of kidneys. wear as few clothes as possible to keep circulation in the skin. never towel dry but let the water evap off. sleep orientated north/south with your head to the north. get some tachyon disks to protect from emf in home, car, and office.

just take one iodoral a day in the morning for now. the oil pulling forum will get you up to speed on that.

try these things for a month or so and if you feel you need additional help, we can talk about CS. do these things in order from the easiest to the hardest so that you build on success. get them all implemented as quickly as you can. none of it is hard. it just requires paying attention.

this protocol is good for anyone who doesnt know what is wrong with them. it lets the body clean up and fix itself.

one last thing. the less you eat and the less you expose yourself otherwise to smog in traffic or other polutants, the better. the key is changes for life and consistency. it is the things that are done every day that create the internal environment. this means there are no quick fixes. i did all of this for at least 3 years before i started iodine. i had very few problems doing 100mg a day or more for the last 6 months. bromide is the hardest to handle. btw, i cured a multitude of problems by doing these things. one of them was severe MCS(multiple chemical sensitivity). another was super low metabolism and thyroid function. my liver was shot, too. i couldnt even drink more than one beer.
