If you are profiting...

I pay quite a bit on my website for "advertising". I have to pay to keep new traffic coming in. I thought about posting here on curezone, but decided that it presented an ETHICAL problem.

Why would I hit on the many people I respect, for the almighty dollar? And my product is not health related at all, so there would not be anything deceiving about it. However, the bottom line is that I would be using Curezone for my own traffic, and for me, that presented a question of right and wrong.

This is the bottom line. It is the Webmasters site. If he is aware that this is happening, and is fine with people profiting from his free server space, then there is nothing to be done. If it were me, I'd have a form of percentage rent, whereas, a percentage of profits from the free server space and traffic (visits to forum) would be paid to me on a monthly basis. After all, as the webmaster, I would be giving this person tons of free traffic, more so than some of the advertising on search engines.

It would be nice to stay pure, however I think the lines, at times, are very fuzzy. But what I do believe, is that many of the people that come here can recognize a sale when they see one. It's like having an acquaintance that only wants to invite you over for her Candlelight (soon to offer butt candles) or cheap jewelry party. You tend to avoid that person at the grocery store....

Curezone is a huge and powerful site. It attracts people worldwide. The traffic on it is massive. You can google diseases, and this site pops up over and over. I honestly don't know how the Webmaster can keep up with such an active site.
