you did say that she started berating you for sitting on the edge of the baby blanket, while the baby was laying there, correct? if that is the case, then she's definitely not holding back while you two are in front of the baby. maybe she thinks that the baby doesn't know, so who cares? maybe not, but if that's her plan for now i can't imagine that she's going to stop berating you in front of your child as your child ages. when your child is 2 or 3 years old your kid will probably start to get it... or at least start to feel the effects of it. i'm not there though, so i don't really know what is happening! when your kid learns to talk, and voice her own opinion check on the way your wife reacts to your kid, see if she's loving and accepting or if she makes your child feel as though she is stupid and wrong to be a certain way or think a certain way. i think you won't really know until the kid is older. if she's bitching at you in front of the kid now i'd be a little worried though
