That cracked me up, "mama uniquity" and then the list. There is a woman I work with who disagrees with anyone by using "number 1... number 2... etc... LOL"

I guess I was not clear... I did not mean I would not use it period, just the whole leaf. I DID end up using the whole leaf last night under the wound dressing... and will have it changed with a fresh piece this morning. I cut the leaf in half and put a flat piece about 1.5 x 1.5 on the open part of the wound (from the lancing).

If this should be different, let me know. It really was not any more uncomfortable than the dressing on its own.
