Carbuncle Update 2

Well I spent today getting several opinions, including the doctor. The decision was unanimous to have it taken care of as soon as possible even by two people who use alternative therapies.

So I saw the doctor. He would not touch it without me being on Antibiotics for three days before hand to shrink it some and prepare for a possible leakage of toxins back into the blood and or lymphatic tissue; something about liability and covering the bases... he said it was the second largest one he has ever seen. It is getting hot to the touch (at least that is what others are saying, I cannot reach it. I suppose it is close to four, four and a half inches long, one and a half to two inches wide and sticks out about the height of a golf ball. It is big, nasty, and is hurting more each day. The thing is also very red and looks to be inflamed. My body seems to want to rid itself of this stuff in the worst way. It has an almost perpetual leaking...

So... I went out and bought some probiotics to take between the doses of Antibiotics ; enough to continue for about 20 days after I finish with the Antibiotics . I do not think I have had antibiotics since my knee surgeries 4 - 5 years ago so this kind of bums me out some, but I have to keep a good attitude otherwise I will affect the outcome.

With any luck I will be rid of this thing on Monday and sporting a big hole in my back where this "thing" once was...

I am going to be getting a little sun, maintaining my exercise routine, juicing a lot and trying real hard to stay totally raw and organic during this ordeal; that should help some.
