I always knew you were multi-talented rainy, but I had no idea you were also adept at constructing straw men. I have no doubt Mark Taylor is sincere. But like 50k or so other false profits on social media, he is sincerely wrong. His own record proves it if you have any doubts, and he fails the test of Dt. 18:20-22 by a country mile - and then some.

And I now see Tansy informing us that Benny Hinn and his followers will also get to see the pearly gates! How wonderful. How delightful. Why don't we just throw the door wide open to Satan and his minions as well and be done with it? Let's throw all caution and discernment to the wind. After all, if we can love & forgive them, I'm sure Jesus can too, right? But seriously, I don't need to 'know' you to warn you about the risks you run when you follow false prophets. As Vekky said, I would say exactly the same to any person who linked a false profit approvingly. This has nothing to do with your personal beliefs, or even how they differ from mine. All I know and care about you is that you belong to God - I could care less about the rest.

As your brother in the faith, I'm simply asking you to tread very carefully when you cite false prophets to make a point. They are not your friend, and never will be. Tweet
