Re: Going to heaven when we die.

Tell me about it! Study takes time and time always seems against me, yes I need lots and lots of study and then some. I do ask God to help me, to show me the way. I have got myself a very good study bible, it’s the colour coded one. It’s the NIV Rainbow Study Bible by Holman. It’s an excellent study bible and widely available, I got mine from Amazon, the price wasn’t to bad for a hardback book. I’ve also purchased The Bible dvd, I absorb pictures better than I do words. I can watch a dvd and absorb that much better. I have heard time isn’t in Heaven like on Earth, that’s hard to comprehend. Yes I understand your belief of not being aware when you are with God, so yes it will seem you died and immediately was then with God, it does make sense. Like we both acknowledge it shouldn’t make any difference with being with God whether we believe we go straight to Heaven after we die or whether we don’t believe that. It’s good to know other persons beliefs because it gives me a chance to reflect on my own beliefs, I’m comfortable, it’s a learning experience, no two minds think alike and I’m going to make mistakes at times but on the whole if I put my faith in God then fingers crossed so to speak, I will hopefully get there. Although I do believe that many who think they’ve done enough won’t get to be with God.
