Oh, thanks for explaining that. I would agree with this post of yours. I wasn't thinking in terms of health/wealth either. I was thinking of spiritual rewards and the God-given ability to complete our destinies and bear spiritual fruit. He has a plan, a destiny, for all of us. We are unable to do this in our own strength. If we don't seek Him we will never see it as He planned it for us. How sad.

We can't be lazy when it comes to seeking God. A lot is at stake. It has to be God working through us as we seek Him. Trying to fulfill our destinies in our own strength, in our own flesh, does not work out so well. Yes, it is by His grace, but we still have to put forth effort. I believe the more effort we put in the better the results. By effort I am mostly referring to the effort we put forth to seek Him and not effort to do His will on our own in our own flesh. He will use our fleshly efforts some as He sees an opportunity to use it, but the results will be nil compared to what we can accomplish when it is God working through us instead of our flesh working at it.
