Ahh! Disciplining ourselves, so if we think bad thoughts like you bump into someone whose gossiped about you! You think I dont like this person because they say bad lies about me! Or your friend is having a bad day and it’s starting to get to you or you come upon the rudest person you ever met and they’re really annoying you! Then that’s not doing the works of God if you’re thinking bad thoughts.

So someone lies and gossips, we have to forgive and we either say nothing or we confront them without pulling their hair out.

Someone is having a really bad day, we keep calm and carry on trying to diffuse the situation or leave, we forgive them without cussing them.

What about if someone took a swipe at us, we either turn the other cheek and let them swipe the other or we walk away and forgive them without pulling their ears off.

I can kinda see why some Christians might have a hard time just taking it but then that’s what sets us apart - however if we just walk away then we are seen as weak and possibly the situation might escalate. So we need to be carful what we do and what we think.
