Yeah, I know that is what you meant as that is the typical understanding. But I don't think the concept of us going to consciously live in heaven before the ressurection is supported biblically as to what the whole of scripture teaches. There are several verses that seem to teach that on the surface but I believe they are misinterpreted.

As for all those who say they have visited heaven and then come back to tell about it, notice how all their stories do not line up with each other, they are all different, often vastly so, the stories are also often are in direct opposition to what the scriptures teach in various ways, and many have gotten rich off of these stories. And all the same goes for those who have supposedly visited hell also.
