Re: Icu protocol question, Liver Detox
Flossy,
I am sure there is research on this.
How I take it is:
I take magnesium sulfate in the AM (6-9)
I take 1030mg Dr Clark capsule, or 1/4 teaspoon of
Epsom Salt USP.
I have been taking the capsule for years, until I eliminate the
parasite problem, it is a daily occurrence.
Do not take more than 1/4 teaspoon of magnesium sulfate per day.
Do not take with more than 133 mg of magnesium citrate, (AM) it potentially could overload the daily limit on the magnesium channel.
Once the liver dumps bile, it takes about 6 weeks to stabilize the stool color back to brown. It is not uncommon to have black, grey, dark green, light green colors.
The liver uses and stores B12, B9, B6 etc. I take a B25 or B50 every once in a while to keep the urine yellow, and flush with B12.
Vitamin A (less than 15,000 - 60,000 units per day, and Ester C 2000 mg per day, (AM) are useful for a couple of months, with a little D. Do not exceed 1000 units of D, 400 is fine.
Milk thistle and CQ10 are a good idea. (AM) I would limit vitamin e (d alpha) to a few thousand units on the a weekend, or once a week, and do not take every day, in that it interferes with other things.
If you are acid, it is a good idea to take a little charcoal, or spirulina to absorb toxins, and remove them from the body. Having the liver dump toxins, only to have the intestines recycle the toxins is a bad idea. The liver can dump toxins for months, so a little charcoal or spirulina go a long way. Avoid more that a little chorella, in that it chelates quite a bit. It is best to take these in the (PM).
If your liver is that congested, it is a good idea to flush the kidneys, I use KGP Flush every couple of weeks. A little cranberry juice, is a good idea. Black cherry juice or Black raspberry juice are a little rougher.
