Re: Doctors recognize adrenal fatique
You don't have "AF" just as no one else does because the condition does not exist.
About these other people, how do you know they even had all the symptoms blamed on "AF"? How do you know their diets are not based on starvation? Do they mention how many calories their before and after diets are, because that's really the only way to know for sure.
Anyone can write how they had "AF" and changed their diet and lifestyle and got better. Unless they gave greater details, such as all the symptoms they had and how many calories their before and after diets were, it really doesn't tell us much.
As for hypothyroid, starvation can cause low thyroid and isn't the prevalence in gender very telling:
"Women have 10 times the risk of hypothyroidism as men"
http://umm.edu/health/medical/reports/articles/hypothyroidism
"Anorexia nervosa... is diagnosed approximately nine times more often in females than in males."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anorexia_nervosa
"Bulimia nervosa is nine times more likely to occur in women than men."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulimia_nervosa
Do you really think the diagnosis rates are a coincidence?
And don't forgot what "AF" guru Dr. Lam observed:
"The vast majority of Adrenal Fatigue cases occur in women."
