Re: Doctors recognize adrenal fatique
The doctor who wrote that article:
"Dr. Jennifer Landa is Chief Medical Officer of BodyLogicMD, the nation's largest franchise of physicians
specializing in bioidentical hormone therapy"
The article also links to her personal website where she sells expensive unproven supplements:
http://store.jenlandamd.com/supplements.html
About bioidentical hormone therapy:
"The Medical Letter on Drugs and Therapeutics concluded "There is no acceptable evidence that 'bioidentical' hormones are safe or effective. Patients should be discouraged from taking them."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioidentical_hormone_replacement_therapy#Criticisms
How much BodyLogicMD charge for first visit:
"Initial consultations with a physician near you range from $395-$595."
And of course, they sell:
"Highest quality supplements"
Here's some complaints of people being ripped off from BodyLogicMD:
http://www.complaintboard.com/bodylogicmd-l7410.html
So that article is nothing but
an advertisement to selling unregulated supplements for an unproven condition. Shame of FOX News for publishing it.
All the M.D.'s who believe in "AF" sell supplements. ALL OF THEM.
I'm just trying to help people avoid being ripped off by these quacks and not waste any more time or suffer one more day from not knowing that starvation is the real reason they are sick.
And yes, starving yourself will cause hormone imbalance. Would you recommend supplements to treat an anorexic? Of course not. The course of treatment for them is to start eating more, but that doesn't make doctors, practitioners, or websites as much money.
This website really needs to wake up to the reality that "AF" is not real and that it's really starvation. Only then will people in the AF support section have a chance of actually getting cured because they will finally know what is causing their problems;
starvation.
