"I would turn off TV that is p 0 r n....." Just my 2cents, I personally would revise this to just plain - turn off the tv. The hidden perils of what comes out of the sparkle box these days are numerous, not the least of which is the long-standing campaigning that promotes the prevalent notion that tv still offers content that qualifies as "good tv". I'll agree that some of the content has a lot more shine and polish packaged into it so that it comes off as kinder/gentler, but below the surface, even programs portrayed as "kiddie entertainment" are rife with subliminal programming and soft p 0 r n. Each moment one spends viewing tv is a moment in which one is avoiding reality. When it comes to kicking addiction to tv, this may be the only time one will find me agreeing with a philosophy of Nancy Reagan - just do it!
