Most of the women I know are stuck on the reality, star search and dance shows along with Dr. Phil, Oprah and Ellen... I think these shows must appeal to the female for the same reasons sports apparently appeal to males.

Just to comment on something 19236 shared having worked in Social services, and having family members and friends in OBGYN, I have seen more than my share of women who abandon their new born babies in the hospital and/or the fathers and their kids to run off… this must be an increasing phenomenon. I know several single fathers, one working three jobs with four kids.
