I think this is true.

I always wondered about sports. Most of the people that watch them are badly out of shape and don't play anything themselves? I can understand liking ball, but how can you watch someone else play? The fun is in the playing! I had a friend who said she liked baseball. So I asked her where do you play? She looked at me like I was nuts! She said she didn't play, only watched. Watching TV is not doing anything, you are better off taking a nap! I can understand watching your child play, but why watch strangers when you can be playing yourself?

I always though TV sports was men's way of getting out of work. That, and an excuse to sit and eat junk food, lol. But then alot of women watch soap operas, I don't see the draw in that either! Tweet
