This is just a theory, of course, but to me the notion of the bible, any bible, pick one, is the ultimate benchmark & example of how humans have been conditioned to readily accepting from some other human what they are willing to take in as information/knowledge/education. It is difficult to imagine or even conceive, but if I were the Supreme Being and Creator of all, and if I had an important message that I wanted my human creations to know - such as what my expectations and rules were for them during their physical life, would I even consider the risk and predictable mayhem therein of delegating this critical chore by delegating it to be carried out by any other entity outside of and below my station, IE> an underling, IE> an intermediary?; whether or not one practices this is one thing, but how many of us have at least not heard the axiom that "if you want somethign to be done right, you have to do it yourself?"
