Things are always darker when one looks from the bottom of a well, though. Yes, the world is in quite a state!
But personally... I like to see it as made by a great designer and gone awry.
The point isn't that it's gone awry, but that it was made by a great designer!
We get twisted up in our own cncerns and worries by focusing in on the earth and all it's troubles, and forget to detatch -
The world is a tiny pearl spinning in a universe of intricacies that, from the point of view of a human, look like chaos.

You realize the numbers don't quite add up.
I believe in God - I believe that the world was created and not assembled from random chances.
And I believe that the creator is interested in the lives and well-being of every person living here on the earth.
'Course it'd be pretty stupid if we didn't have a chance to choose.
