no one here is advocating for genetically engineered food. where did you come up with that as an argument for the 30 or so points i quoted from doug graham's book?
if you actually ever read his book you would see that he doesn't recommend grains either.
bill davis is like the 1000th person to come along in the gluten saga. nothing new in his books whatsoever. he, like so many of the people that came before him, are making a huge mistake in substituting animal protein for carbohydrate. 10=15 years down the line all the people who got suc***ed into his world will have a whole new host of problems to deal with much worse than a wheat belly.
the gall bladder comment is really bizarre. you are aware the gall bladder assists with digestion of fats and not proteins, right? and that bitters from leafy greens are just as effective at promoting bile as fats?
there are plenty of fats in nuts and some fruits to justify the existence of the gall bladder. one of the worst things for your gall bladder is animal protein.
if you wanted to make a point about humans being meat eaters you would somehow show that we produce the same amount of hydrochloric acid as carnivores -- which we don't.
