Re: New here - My (lengthy)story
I understand, do not worry, no one here is ever judging you, we want you well! =)
I've had this problem since they put caps on my teeth but they are gone now. The problem being that you should be aware of but don't fret, just know that if they start bothering you or are sore and they don't find anything on x-ray it means nothing at all...for one it's not a definite they can see infection on an xray and certainly through a cap it is very difficult for them to see if the tooth is dying which is from the tooth's pulp being chronically infected.
I hope this is not teeth related but don't rule it out either. =) I have had four years of severe health issues due to just this...it started with 2 caps hurting all the time, then I got very swollen, after two years the first go round they figured both were dying....I did
root canals and I spiraled even further so after that I got them pulled, started to get better and a bridge did the same thing. I went through another 1.5 years with a bridge doing the same and no matter what kind of misery I was in told them etc. they said they were fine..they were not fine, I then got those root canaled...waste of money and my health and time absent from life. I just removed the bridge and improved significantly.
I am sharing my story with you so that you can be aware and ascertain if any of this is familiar at all. It's so difficult to lose teeth but in the long run your health is more important than the teeth are. For all it is worth I wish I would not have had the
root canals but you know it just didn't make sense that I was reacting so quick and violently to them the first time so I buckled for the next two because you can sort of see this on the side when I smile, I am getting a partial and am so happy to have them out.
I wish you well! =) I pray your health issues are resolved soon for you, it's no fun being so young and sick.
