The 'Be still and know meditation' by Masters was one of the few things that helped cure me of ptsd. In fact it's being given to the military with a lot of success. I personally, can't say enough about it. When one learns how to relax and observe thoughts, it eliminates anxiety disorder, which is adding that 2nd fear upon the 1st.
