I wish I could do meditation. I was doing it for an hour a day and physically improving a lot.

HOWEVER, it caused crazy brain fog! And also, it caused me to have depressed thoughts constantly. Meditation definitely made me very depressed. It affected me cognitively and emotionally for the worse.

Now, whenever I want to chill out I just go to a quiet place and sit there, but I let my brain think, and I don't close my eyes and focus on my breathing. This usually makes me feel better.

I have also heard you aren't supposed to meditate if depressed. For me it made Depression worse.
