Re: adrenal exhaustion and insomnia

Hi guys,

Yeah, I finally found a thread where an actual person has pretty much the identical symptoms I do. I suffer from extreme anxiety *(and have for about 7 years of my life), excessive sweating (still perplexes me), insomnia (now recent), extremely sensitive to stimulants, fatigue, eye twitches...list goes on. I am currently supplementing with a variety of vitamin/mineral supplements recommended to me by a alternative doctors after reviewing my hair analysis test. I've been up and down the past year. First, mainly following an amino acid therapy to treat my neurotransmitter imbalances, and neglecting recommendations for my adrenals. Well after a year, I finally found freedom for 3 months after getting my levels balanced, and then I plummeted yet again. Now I am certain, that my symptoms are related to adrenal exhaustion.

I was an avid/obsessive weight trainer, dependant on stimulants, anxious, highly stressed...makes sense. I too am struggling with the constant anxiety and fatigue and NOW insomnia, which I never had an issue with in the past. And the excessive sweating! Has anyone else experienced excessive sweating? I mean it makes sense if I am stimulated, (Anxiety), my SNS would obviously be overactive. But it's as soon as I wake up. After quitting coffee, lifting, it is still just as bad...

Any advice or comments would be appreciated. Its important that we all stick together and get through this together.
