Re: Blastocystis Hominis Nitazoxanide/Furazolidone/Secnidazole cocktail therapy

Everyone,
I have blastocystis hominis and would like to take the three medication cocktail therapy. Unfortunately, doctors in the U.S. and Canada are usually reticent to providing the necessary assistance. As you know, a local doctor must write prescriptions for all three of the medications, and must write a letter indicating that they are willing to monitor you while on the regimen.

Can anyone who has used this treatment regime provide the contact information for their doctor? I would be willing to travel within the U.S. or Canada to find a doctor who would be open to cooperating with the Centre for Digestive Diseases in Australia. My first preference would be to travel within state (Florida) to a doctor here; my second preference would be to travel to a state where I could stay with friends or family (north Illinois, northwest Indiana, Washington State, Ontario [Canada]). If that would not work, I would be open to any other state or province. Any assistance would be most helpful.
