So, I had the same experience as most of you, it came right out, no pain, no tugs, no bleeding. I loved not taking a pill everyday and not having periods all though I still had the emotional and PAINFUL cramping of menses but no bleeding mess...I could no longer stand the horrible cramps by mirena though, terrible wanna scoop out my insides curl up and die cramps. My husband switched jobs and we can't afford the insurance so I couldn't go to the dr...yesterday I was in a ball cramping so today I decided I can take no more! I googled, found this forum and got some courage. I'm so happy to be rid of the torture bomb in my uterus! I would encourage anyone considering this to thoroughly wash your vagina and hands with antibacterial soap just to reduce the possibility of infection, I believe that is the main reason they don't want us to do this ourselves.
