Re: Fuhrman / Fasting / Fitness? Where too now?

I agree it's a fasting for health forum, primarily. The history seems to have been that this was once for both, however weight loss was created because someone wrote to Webmaster and asked for it, following discontent because the old mods here were telling people to fast according to Bragg, Shelton and Fuhrman rules (but I think we should all stick to those rules whatever the reason for fasting).

However, when I started fasting I found the advice in here was more sound (thanks to you and Fonty :) ). So I think that is why I and many others post here for weight loss, because we like to do it sensibly.

Regarding the eating side of Fuhrman's plan, well it's a bit premature because I haven't read the book, so I'll hold fire until I do. But it may be that eating Kale pre and post fast may help relieve symptoms of detox on any kind of fast.

I also intend to read Fasting and Eating for Health, when I get time.

I was not aware that Fuhrman followed Shelton, thanks for that information. But I guess what I like about Fuhrman is that he is alive today writing books and posting vidoes on Youtube, and you can actually ask him Qs on his website.

Also, I felt that explaining that fasting for weight loss does not keep off the weight so easily, as I have now found, it may make people think twice about fasting for weight loss.

What would be nice is if I could find a forum here on Fuhrman. There is an Atkins one here, but no Fuhrman. Maybe I should ask Webmaster??? :)

I could also stick some of this in a Cz blog I guess. Anyway, I should be reading more than writing in the coming weeks, so will try not to flood the fasting forum with messages about food, ha ha! Tweet
