I'm not sure it helps as a moderator to label someone's input as "diatribe". That will put them further on the offensive.

If what they are saying is wrong, simply point out that they are wrong and support your position, as you usually do.

But, if they are correct, as may be the case here, then one shouldn't oppose a posters input just because the delivery is a bit coarse.

Diatribes are often needed. How would you confront a rapist or pedophile? With positive affirmation?

I'd much rather have anyajb12's rude but honest input much more than the positive only fluff of many of the other people who have gathered here.

Sad to say, I find that this forum has gathered a lot of mentally ill individuals. Adults who have never matured into adulthood, not able to accept any form of criticism or critique, insecure at best.
