Re: Wrong approach to health....To Hermit

Hermit,
I agree with you totally. I just got her book and have been reading it. I did the first Liver Flush (just lemon and oil) to avoid emergency surgery. I then took Chinese Herbs for gall bladder and/or kidney, for about three weeks, and did two more flushes.I used the Epsom Salts for the third flush and it gave me horrible brown water, and now in looking back I think I must have been dehydrated, at least partially, from the salts. I had gall bladder pain, shoulder pain, headache, muscle pain and could hardly drag myself around for a few days after the flush when I used the salts. I also was not thirsty and did not drink enough water...not even knowing that for a few days, until I looked back at it. Yesterday was the ninth day of my parasite cleanse. I started having gall bladder pain and knew I had to do a flush. I had eaten oatmeal with about half a cup of milk, and maply syrup about two in the afternoon. The pain by evening was telling me to flush, so I did. I did use a half tablespoon of Epsom Salts in the 3/4 cup of water. I was scared to use the full dose because of what happened last time. I did have nausea about 4AM. I finally took two Tums and went to sleep. I have ordered the Bowel Cleanse things. I plan to do that along with finishing the parasite cleanse as soon as the things arrive.
I have made total change in my diet since gall bladder attack in September. I eat nothing fried. I am down to one diet coke a day from about six! I do drink one or two cups of coffee, with maple syrup and coffee mate. I drink lots of filtered water. I have no junk foods, no candy, no white flour. I do not miss any of those. Maybe this doesnt sound to good to you..however this is from a person that was eating all kinds of junk foods, chocolate, fast foods at least three times or more a week, artificial sweetner, huge steaks, half pound of bacon at a time, eggs by the dozen weekly and butter by the pound. I have given all that up. I know I have a long way to go but am on the road! Thanks so much for your post of encouragement. I will keep on trying.
