I have 2 new rape cases. The details are similar, both girls were drugged and raped. They were not together, nor do they know each other. One case has me especially upset. The girl is a Special Ed student. She tried to talk about it, but because of the drugs and her disability, she grew more frustrated and then felt like maybe she was wrong; that it maybe didnt happen. So her suffering is in silence and a confusion that just gets more and more mixed up.
The other girl, a 12 year old got in a fight with her parents and went to a friend's house. Here, she was drugged and raped. She woke up for part of it, but felt like it was a nightmare. The poor thing was more afraid of the beating she would get from her parents than the trauma of the attack. The police detective who met with the parents did a great job of setting them straight. But, this was the weekend, so I will hopefully find out tomorrow how the parents treated her after the police left.
Not sure what the purpose of this post is, maybe just to vent, to keep you up to date, or let other victims know that they are not alone. Tweet
