It is my fervent hope that you have read all of the responses in the spirit in which they were intended. We, each and every one of us, have made bad choices, and stupid decisions in relationships - for one to say otherwise would be a lie. We are each fallible and, thank God, we should never be afraid to say, "Yeah, I made a dumb choice." I chose my ex - I didn't "have" to choose him, but I did, for whatever reason. The main thing is that I learned a great deal about my Self having Survived our relationship. So much so that I was compelled to assist other people (men AND women) to see Light at the end of the abusive tunnel.
