Zoe, you know it's a minefield. If you are very very lucky, you end up traversing this relationship thing without being blown up. But you know and I know that a woman's heart and mind are as connected as your thyroid and adrenals LOL! For some of my own, and my girlfriends relationships, it has always been, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger..And oh yes, at 51, I am pretty strong. Perhaps a bit cynical too?

Insecurities? Wow, how do you resolve those? How deep they go, eh? We all have them to some degree. And discovering your mates takes some time. Soul Survivors bar is very very high. And can you blame her? She is the epitome of what doesn't kill you.....! I would like to be in her circle of girlfriends, it would feel like a womb I bet.

I bet that man you were with was incredible. Everything great on paper. Do you know what happened to the poor guy? What a horrible insecurity. It must have torn him apart.

I'm really waxing philosophical today. Sheesh.
