Oh man, did you hit the nail on the head. You are right! In your face sexuality, where the rights of passage are blow jobs. How romantic is that? Yes, women with allure no longer exist. All the magazines, all the VH1 and MTV videos show women in the raw. There is no more allure. Wow SS, on some level I had thought about that but you summed it up so nicely as usual.

And what you said about the tortured soul and saving them. OMG, that was my first relationship in high school. He was too far gone to save, and broke up with ME for some slutty girl (Thank GOD), and the first marriage became extremely dramatic, as you know, and he broke up with me for some slutty girl (Thank GOD again!).

Now I'm with my life partner, unless he tries to break up with me for some slutty girl, and I fear that will be the end of his manhood (Kidding). Nah, its good now, and at least for now I don't have to worry about who I am with. What a relief. Perhaps that is why I've gotten so strong because I finally went to that "safe place". I feel completely secure relationship-wise. I think everyone should have this, but alas I know there are too many insecurities out there. I was there too.
