Thursday: Still eating healthily

Well it's been a while so I thought I'd drop in a quick update of my eating habits and how I've found my health has adjusted post MC.
Eating has just been a fantastic experience. I'm eating lots of whole foods, fresh fruit and veg and bar the odd piece of dark chocolate have completely avoided any sort of refined / processed / junk food. I've found this really easy because I'm enjoying the food I'm eating so much, it's not such a big lifestyle change because I've always been reasonably healthy but I've made a few tweaks and feel much improved. I've also stayed off the alcohol and although I'm going camping with a bunch of friends tomorrow I think I'll stick to the juice :)
In other news I got my mirena removed on Tuesday. A horrible experience (aren't these things always!) but I'm glad it's done and I'm looking forward to regaining my natural cycle. I'm just going to have to be careful because I've always suffered from very painful periods and chronic PMS so I'm currently researching lots of herbal remedies. Any advice would be welcome!
Generally I'm still feeling healthy, energised, happy. I've had a tough time at work recently which has made me feel quite down and I wondered how my lack of meds affected that (perhaps I've been a bit more emotional about it than I would have been ordinarily). Although in the end it's good to experience my 'true' feelings rather than some weird repressed ones. Anyway that all seems resolved now and today has been a good day.
By the way, I haven't weighed myself since the MC but I still feel in good shape and just feel good for all this healthy food. Might weigh in on the weekend and will leave an update.
