there is not much difference, functionally, between wont and cant and cant help it. behaviour has a single dimension and must be interpreted in light of other information that is gathered.

a person can be a functional liar and have a seared conscience without any pathology at play. those can be conscious choices via pragmatism. not all opportunists are narcissists, but all narcissists are opportunists.

i was long ago broken of the belief that women are natural nurturers. god bless all those who do, because they have to do it on purpose, many times at great personal cost. i would never diminish their efforts by relagating their behaviour to the level of instinct. poppycock. Tweet
