Re: The Hazards of Crystalline Silica +edit
Yes, I believe Jarrow sells one and
http://www.eidon.com. I had some questions about siica and I did the research and called around. It is a bit strange, but it is the truth. People have been taking in rock dust for a very long time. Humans have used stone morters and rocks to make food for a long time. Some of it gets into the food.
Take a look at diatomaceous earth. That is another high silica earth based substance that you *think* humans should not eat. But in fact it is very good for us. I take it with success and so do others.
One thing about research is that you have to go much deeper than the obvious in order to find the truth. But sometimes, the truth is so simple, we often overlook it!
Now, having said that, I think one needs to use their gut instincts about what to put into your body. I have yet to take the pickling lime, nor do I take coral calcium. At this point, it is because I have some questions about getting too much calcium. I would prefer to get it via my food. I have spoken to some in the mineral industry that think we as a culture already get plenty of calcium. So, in my view, there are other reasons one may choose not to take pickling lime. If it does not feel right to you, then either don't do it or test it out on yourself. Just because it is promoted by someone that has a lot of good info, does not mean it will be right for everyone.
The other thing, it does not matter that your husband works with crystal. Just because he knows a lot about it in one use does not make him an expert on the multi uses of the product. That is just false thinking. Hell, I have run across people in this industry that do not know a lot about the very product they promote and sell. (((((It is scary)))))
