Re: What would you do?
I'm glad I was able to help. She fit all the symptoms I had so I figued she had the whole package. Yes!! This is 100% cureable. She can be who she was born to be before her personality was destoyed by abuse. It takes time, patience, and determination but the payoff is more than worth it.
One tip.. If you can manage it, get her away from her family. They are dangerous to your wife and child. If they are not the actual abusers, they were at least negligent in protecting her. You don't have enough information to determine if your family is safe around these people. "Err on the side of caution"
I went to a professional hypnotist/therapist, however that did not work. You have to trust to be hypnotised and I didn't/couldn't trust anyone that much. So I scoured the web and learned how to do it. There is alot of information available for free and cheap. I'm sorry I don't have time to post links for you but I live in central Florida and we are preparing for the worst. It is again a really good idea to contact a professional therapist. Many of the people who do EFT are also Certified in Hypnosis. Sylvia Hartman-Kent comes to mind. She is the creator of Emo-Trance and is more than qualified to help your wife. Do a search on the net and get her contact information.
Or you can ask someone local to write you a general relaxation trance script and then record in your/her own voice. Then you will get the hang of it. Dont' try to do anything else at first because the subconsious has to build trust. The only way that can happen is by doing it and making it safely to the other side. Then you can move on to deprogramming, programming, creative thinking, etc.. The first thing I did was create an imaginary "safe place" where I go when I'm in a trance. Mine is a cave where no one can enter. I have a friend that has a meadow with miles of open plain so she can see anyone approaching. You have to create your own. I think your wife would like an island with guardian dolphins. Just an idea.
I wish I had more time tonight, but the hurricane is speeding up and I have to still solder my generator wires and pound the grounding rod into the ground before it rains. Sorry..
