Yes that was part of what I was saying...that feminists aren't all the same in terms of their experiences or their aims even.
Yes women have throughout history abused other women, usually that will have a lot to do with class or race relations for example. I didn't mean to suggest women are totally innocent or anything...I just meant oppression arises out of oppression.
I don't think feminism alone should be responsible for women achieving respect....I think that should be the aim of any humanist society. If women are still not respected I don't think that can be solely laid at the door of feminism.
