Yes, any way you can bounce would help. I have my rebounder in the corner, so I can hold onto two walls if I need to !! You can even sit on it and bounce. You can also sit on it and have some one stand on it behind you and bounce you. The NEEDAK has a stabalizing bar that you can get.....it attaches to the rebounder. My balance is not good either. I ordered a Body Dome and cannot balance on it. Maybe some day ! I wanted to stand on it...I could still do the sit down exercises on the thing. When I got it, I over did it and got really sore so now I hate the thing. *LOL* I need to get back to it.
