I've been following your thread with great interest. I was diagnosed with Hep C just yesterday. I was going into the hospital to get a cyst removed and they tested my blood. Then the doc called me back and informed me I have tested positive for Hep C. At this point I have little other information. What makes this more complicated is the fact I'm in Japan working and don't have a full command of the language.
At this point I'm very confused but not so depressed. I feel fine yet I know internally I've probably sustained some damage. I have an appointment tomorrow to find out more information from a specialist. I was hoping you could give me some points and inform me of your situation. I gather I must get as much information as possible to make the right choices.
It's nerve racking to try and figure out where I got this virus. My guess it came from an ear peircing years back..but really I have no idea.
I'd appreciate if you could contact me via Email. I would really appreciate your support and wisdom. Like I said..this is fresh and I still am in the midst of processing it all.
