Hi there Stanarad! I happened to "hear" you talk about liver enzymes in another thread somewhere and that's the burning question in my mind these days. Through my recent bouts with a couple of bacterial infections and now Candida, my liver enzymes show "elevated" on tests. Hepatitis has been ruled out several times (they keep checking!) This same thing happened to me back in the 80's when I was one of the first group of people to be diagnosed with Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome -- back when it was the yuppie flu or Epstein Barr and they knew absolutely nothing about it except that it was "in your head". Needless to say, I'm thoroughly exhausted again (I also really burned myself out on a huge job last year that my body is paying me back for..) Anyway, what else might cause elevated liver enzymes? Candida? Mono? Drugs? Tumor growth? My new doctor, the one I like so much, wants to proceed with another liver test but I don't know what that is yet. In the meantime I just thought I'd ask. It all seems so very related to me somehow....
Warm regards,
~Robin
