I take probiotics powder with goats milk yogurt because I think it is an alkalizing food, unlike cow's milk which, I think is acid forming -- I may be wrong about that. My guess is that an alkalizing food maybe helps it get through the stomach acid on the way down? Just guessing again.

I get goats' milk because I also happen to be allergic to milk but can tolerate goats' milk just fine. And we're lucky to have dairy in the county so it's a locally stocked thing..
