The question is whether he knew you had a special needs child or not. That he intended to hurt you with that meme because he knew you had a child like that. He is against people who he thinks are too radical about not allowing him his free speech to say what he wants to say and anyway he wants to say it. Most free speech believers are not of that mind set. We know we must temper our words. He is very anti-vaccine because he contributes that to much of the autism that is out there. I agree with him on that. However, no one should be getting in people's faces or joking to make a point about them giving their children vaccines. People should share their thoughts about that in another way.
Another issue, is people's different types of humor. I can't stand comedians these days. They are vile. I have other's tell me to lighten up and just enjoy their jokes, but I don't find them funny at all. What a waste of time as far as I'm concerned. I just don't see eye to eye with what people call humor. I have a feeling that the meme was seen as humor, a social comment about vaccinations, and the right to free speech all the same time. After seeing this type of thing over and over again, we have become desensitized to what we are really doing/thinking.
Everyone else knew about your child because we have talked about it on and off for a long time. It seems Trapper reads everything we write, but we just assume that he read that too. The truth is Trapper is just offensive period. He is going to offend someone somewhere. Yes, I thought he purposely posted the meme to get back at you....but I can't swear that he knew that you had an autistic child. I just don't know.
