I have dentinogensis imperfecta. We can trace it back 4 generations. It is very dominant in my family. I'm currently going to a local university dental school and they do not want to extract my teeth either. I have lost 2 on top (they were crowned when I was 21, I have not 59). I have lost both ridges on the bottom. I want an upper denture but they don't want to do it.
